Project Coronado

1986 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

Black Bridge Motors presents Project Coronado: A 1986 Jeep Grand Wagoneer reimagined for the modern world. Powered by a 2018 6.2L Supercharged MOPAR engine this Jeep will produce roughly 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft of torque making this Wagoneer capable, reliable and exhilarating to drive. Accompanying the engine package is a 6-speed automatic Tremec transmission to increase drivability and emphasize luxury. Power is transferred to a custom transfer case turning Dana axles in both the front and rear end. Stopping power is provided by a custom hydroboost setup mated to 6 piston calipers and vented disc front and rear. A 4-link suspension, coil over springs, and performance series reservoir shocks create the smoothest possible ride. Inside Coronado you are met with a luxuriously upgraded, period correct interior fitted with modern conveniences.

Backed by Mopar's 3 year unlimited mileage power train warranty, Project Coronado improves upon an iconic Jeep design that offers increased power, safety and luxuries of a modern-day vehicle. Black Bridge Motors specializes in re-powering and transforming the classic car ownership experience.
